Conor McGregor made his return to the Octagon at UFC 257 over the weekend, but it did not go as planned with Dustin Poirier spoiling the return with a second-round knockout of the former two-division champ.
In the co-main event, meanwhile, Michael Chandler made a huge statement in his UFC debut with a first-round knockout of Dan Hooker.
Following the event, the medical suspensions for the pay-per-view were announced with McGregor receiving a potential six-month layoff unless his right tibia and fibula are cleared by an x-ray.
Poirier, meanwhile, has a seven-day medical suspension for mandatory rest.
