New York Mets general manager Jared Porter has been fired.
Porter, who helped the team orchestrate a blockbuster trade to land Francisco Lindor, is out at the helm after admitting to sending unsolicited nude photos to a female reporter that he had previously met in 2016.
The foreign reporter dropped the bombshell in a report on ESPN.com.
In photos that were shared, Porter can be seen sending dozens of text messages with no response before he began sending selfies and photos of his penis. In total, the reporter claims Porter sent over 60 texts before she demanded he stopped.
After the report came to light, Mets owner Steve Cohen announced that Porter would be fired.
It was a short stint in New York for Porter, who landed the role on December 13, 2020.
