Golf is open for play in Oklahoma and that means Instagram golfer Taylor Cusack is going to get out there, keep her skills sharp and stay ready in case the celebrity golf tournaments happen this summer and she’s called on to play in an outing as an Instagram influencer. Over the weekend, according to her IG posting, she played at Belmar Golf Club in Moore, Oklahoma. Golflink has the place as a 4-star.
At first, I wasn’t sure what to think about golfing during a pandemic and then I started thinking about how I’m usually way further away than six feet from fellow golfers most of the time and I can figure out a way to do the same on the greens and tee box. I’m starting to think about getting back out since Ohio is allowing golf and I’m told the courses aren’t packed. Taylor’s out here influencing me to get out there and get the mind right with some golf. Feel alive for four hours. Hit some shots, knock off the winter rust, forget the whole stay-at-home order thing and get some exercise.
According to Bloomberg News, “about half of America’s 16,000 courses continue to operate in 34 states as essential outlets for exercise and health maintenance.” The northeast, Washington, Nevada, New Mexico, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota remain the places that won’t let you get out to swing on the courses.
Meanwhile, Taylor’s out there still able to create some content in a legal fashion while the other IG models are bored and have turned to TikTok dances to try to keep their audiences satiated.
