Tennessee quarterback Brian Maurer’s girlfriend Morgan Hood dumped him via a TikTok video in what just might be the very first DI quarterback relationship ended by the new social media platform that requires you to be like 14 to understand the intricacies. Maurer, who played in seven games and had two touchdowns and five interceptions, responded on Instagram with, “girls do anything for they 15 seconds of fame,” seeming to confirm his relationship with Hood was finished and signaling to all the Vols ladies that a ride to Mt. St. Rocky Top is without roadblocks as of tonight.
I could use an 18-year-old intern around here just to keep up with all the content now spread across Snap, TikTok, IG, etc. That’s how I know I’m getting old on here — there are kids out here running around who don’t know what came before them like having 240p videos on MySpace.
As for Maurer, he’s 18. No need for the annoying girlfriend. He has a Gator Bowl coming up against Indiana on January 2 to worry about.
