Dwayne Haskins Pleads With His Offensive Line…Looks Like They’re About To Laugh

Dwayne Haskins was caught on camera during today’s game against the Jets pleading with his offensive line, saying “What do I have to do to help you?” It was just Haskins second NFL start and you’re looking at an offensive line that doesn’t seem to know if they’re supposed to say something back or if they’re supposed to laugh. It was another ugly day for the Redskins on offense. The line gave up six sacks, the rushing attack accounted for four first downs and then there is this stat for the Redskins…a real eye opener:

Washington (1-9) set a franchise record by going 16 consecutive quarters without a touchdown before Derrius Guice scored on a 45-yard screen pass early in the fourth. Haskins was 19 of 35 passing for 214 yards and threw TD passes to Guice and tight end Jeremy Sprinkle in his first game since being named starter for the rest of the season.

And then you have Haskins acting like he’s a 10-year vet to an offensive line that’s ready for the season to be over and to get a one-year offer from some other franchise:

How ugly was it today? The Jets led 20-3 at half and it was all over:
