If you thought everyone got home from Bills-Titans safely and without incident, you’d be wrong thanks to at least one man, Norman Devasure, who was arrested for DUI after he crashed into an ambulance and then told cops he had two large drinks of whiskey before the game.
According to an arrest warrant, the ambulance was stopped at a light Sunday afternoon on Shelby Avenue near Interstate Drive when Norman Devasure crashed into it.
When officers arrived at the crash scene, they said Norman Devasure appeared to be intoxicated. He reportedly told officers he was coming from the Titans game and had two large drinks of whiskey before the game.
Devasure also explained he was on 16 different medications and took some with alcohol, police revealed.
According to court records, this isn’t Norman’s first rodeo with DUIs. Have to say it was a bold strategy to drink two large whiskeys before the game considering the fact that then you either get real tired during TV timeouts or you spend a fortune at the stadium keeping the buzz going for four hours and having to watch the Titans offensive line get lit up for five sacks.
