In case you were at the lake, on a trip, golfing, out walking the dog, etc. this weekend, then you missed the big chicken sandwich debate that broke out between Chick fil A people and those who swear by Popeyes chicken sandwich. I’m just getting caught up myself, but it seems as if someone said Popeyes has the superior chicken sandwich, it went wild and the Twitter clout seekers jumped on the train.
Of course I went to the NSFWBDs to see what’s going on because I’ll get a real answer as to how good this Popeyes chicken sandwich really is. Here’s where things get good — the BDs seems to be split on this subject. The clout chasers vs. the fil A loyalists.

After nearly 50 years in business, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is finally bringing a chicken sandwich to its national menu.
The fried chicken chain, which is owned by Restaurant Brands International, will roll out the new menu item across its U.S. stores on Monday. Popeyes called it the chain’s biggest launch since 1989, when it introduced crawfish to its menu.
With pickles and a buttered bun, the sandwich resembles that of Chick-fil-A, the biggest chicken chain in the U.S. by sales.
