Back to work, people
As I write this, Little BC & BC3 are still sleeping (8:02 a.m.) which means Mrs. BC is still sleeping and it’s all a testament to the 4th of July and the power independence has over people. The boys went so hard — one of many to come in their lifetimes — in the pool and at the dinner table just enjoying the life we’re able to live in a civilized society where you can throw it on Yacht Rock Pandora one minute and 4th of July Pandora the next when you need a shot of freedom in your system. That brings me to 4th of July Pandora’s music selection. I shouldn’t fire up that channel and hear Bryan Adams.
The guy is Canadian & clearly doesn’t know what real freedom is since they’re part of the Commonwealth. Get his ass outta here.
Other than that it was a perfect 4th. It was 100 with the humidity, not much wind, bunch of lightning after dark, couple of fireworks going off in the perfect little neighborhood where I live and a nice night of sleep thanks to the air conditioning set at 69. Now it’s back to work (sorta) for a couple weeks before NFL training camps open — the Broncos report July 17.
