It’s rare for a Wisconsin Man to show up on BC, but this is a special Wisconsin Man who says he gets urges to do odd things and that, according to a court, includes clogging toilets. Now Patrick Beeman is being sent to jail for the damage he has caused to toilets and property when toilets overflowed.
Patrick has been sentenced to 150 days in prison for his acts of destruction. Then, when he gets out, he’ll be on probation. I assume that means no clogging toilets and not doing anything else odd that would cause damage to property. I’ve gone through Patrick’s Facebook and I can’t find anything about toilets, clogging toilets, water bottles. It’s weird that he ended up in this kind of underbelly, but here we are with Patrick going to prison.
According to a criminal complaint, officers found a toilet in the women’s bathroom at Deland Community Center clogged by a plastic bottle last March. Water was overflowing from the toilet.
Officers were able to identify Beeman after speaking with a manager at the temp agency for which Beeman worked, who said Beeman damaged toilets at a company where he was placed by the agency, the complaint said. He was only employed there about a month. The manager said Beeman was placed at another company, where incidents of a similar nature began to happen.
According to the complaint, Beeman told police he gets urges to do odd things, like look for bottles in the garbage to plug toilets. He said he stopped when he heard police were investigating.
I did a Google search to see if clogging toilets with a water bottle is some sort of underbelly of society and learned that people actually use water bottles to unclog toilets. At this point I have no idea what’s going on here with society.
