I guess Paul Pierce farting on Michelle Beadle is ESPN’s version of getting edgy like they do on TNT with Shaq, Charles and Kenny, except we can all see through this forced edgy version of NBA coverage from ESPN where there’s zero cohesiveness between Pierce, Jalen Rose and Chauncey Billups. It’s no secret that as soon as the NBA Playoffs move to ESPN it’s a major buzzkill.
Not going to lie, I used to be Team Beadle when she would pick NFL games against Playboy Playmates. That’s way before she got into the Woke World and I had to unfollow, ignore shows she was hosting and definitely ignore NBA coverage. It’s brutal and anybody telling you differently has blinders on. Did any of you even watch ‘Get Up!’ when she was hosting and would rather be anywhere but next to Greenie?
Anyway, this fart thing feels too forced. I picture a producer pulling Pierce to the side before the show & encouraging The Truth to let one rip. “It’ll go viral,” blah, blah, blah. The last thing I want to be doing today is giving Beadle & ESPN NBA any coverage at all, but it has to be said that this is a desperate attempt to pretend for a minute that they’re like TNT.
