Not going to lie, this is on my mind every time I drive down the highway and see a MegaMillions billboard
So the MegaMillions is sitting at $548 million tonight and I keep thinking about how it would be critical to eliminate nearly everyone in your life because they would become leaches. I keep thinking the only logical move, even with a family, is to go dark for a few months after the money is deposited in a trust and the taxes are paid. Just disappear to a place where you’re behind a gate, there’s a nice beach and you won’t be bothered. Of course there would be new phones.
Then comes the question of social media. Do you go nuts bragging about life or do you go completely dark? I’m going completely dark. No social. However, I’ve spent a solid 11 years of my life constantly on social with this BC lifestyle. The phone is never not going off. My dream is to never get another alert unless it’s from a friend. Friends could still text until that awkward moment where you can tell they definitely want to ask if you could cover $10k for a new used car. That’s when the real dilemma begins. How many used cars do you end up buying? Your family will want in on that life. Your cousins. Your old college roommates. It’s going to get ugly.
That’s why I say completely dark. You better have a good source for my phone number.
You hit the $548M MegaMillions…do you kill all social media or keep Instagram & go wild bragging about life?
