Vols Fan Savanna Seems Ready For West Virginia

I happened upon Vols fan Savanna during one of my IG searches that go on throughout the day and thought that she was a bright spot in what might be a rough start to the season Saturday in Charlotte (3:30, CBS) when Will Grier brings his Heisman (and daughter that will be getting all sorts of TV time) campaign to town and the Vols are in the way. Tennessee is a 10-point dog at some books.

Or is Will Grier going to flame out in game one to a quality opponent playing hard for a new head coach? I’m not going to lie, college football needs Grier to have a big year. He has the former NFL cheerleader baby mama, great hair and the kid. This is the kind of story that media outlets can latch onto and ride for several weeks, including a possible GameDay visit in November.

Anyway, let’s get back to Savanna. She’s heading into her senior season. Time to unleash. No regrets. No looking back and trying to figure out why she didn’t give more effort on Saturdays. Time to go hard and create that social content she’ll look back at one day when she’s at her first job and think of all the good times.

College seniors…this is your time. You have this final chance and it starts this weekend. Most of you will get six home games to leave a legacy. Go out there and dominate. And make sure to send me the pics and videos.
