Report: 4 Killed At 'Madden 19' Tournament in Jacksonville

Four people at a “Madden 19” video game tournament in Jacksonville were reportedly killed after a gunman opened fire.
According to News4Jax, the shooting occurred at the Chicago Pizza in Jacksonville Landing — seven other people were shot to go along with the four dead. Audio of the shooting was captured on the live stream on Twitch (warning: graphic):

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office has tweeted that one suspect is dead, though it’s unknown if there is another shooter:


Police advise that people who are hiding should stay where they are as SWAT conducts a thorough search of the area:

The shooter was a gamer who was competing in the tournament and lost, according to Steven “Steveyj” Javaruski, one of the competitors.
The shooter “targeted a few people” and shot at least five victims before killing himself, Javaruski told The Times in a direct message on Twitter. The gunman killed two or three people “that I saw,” Javaruski said.
