People in Nebraska may be hyped to have Scott Frost back, but that apparently doesn’t make him immune from opportunistic scumbags.
Riley John of the Lincoln Journal Star tweets Frost some very valuable championship merch — two Huskers championship rings, two UCF championship rings, 10 Oregon championship rings — after burglars entered his home, which is currently being renovated, through an unlocked garage over the weekend.
.@Lincoln_Police say burglars took $165k in memorabilia from Scott Frost’s SW #LNK home over the weekend including 2 #Huskers championship rings, 10 Oregon championship rings & 2 #UCF championship rings. Burglars entered home – which is being renovated- thru an unlocked garage.

In addition to the rings Frost lost a couple pairs of Jordans and a Wii:
Other items taken included 5 pairs of #GoDucks Air Jordans shoes and a Wii gaming console.

Suffice it to say that fencing some of this stuff, mainly the rings, will be an interesting endeavor for the burglars. Moving the Wii and Jordans should be cake, but eagle-eyed Huskers fans will be on the lookout for the jewelry ready to alert police:
Anyone who sees the memorabilia for sale should call police at 402-441-6000 or Crimestoppers at 402-475-3600.
