Pro tip to all the fantasy footballers out there: Think twice about drafting players from the Los Angeles Chargers, there seems to be a strong possibility something horrific will happen to the feet, knees, arms, etc. of their players. From stars to undrafted free agents, no one on the roster is safe.
The team lost Hunter Henry to a torn ACL during OTAs, and stayed hot on the first day of training camp with Jason Verrett’s torn Achilles. They will be without their star cornerback for the third season in a row… and the injury list added another name Saturday when tight end Austin Roberts went down with a knee issue:

Roberts, who went undrafted out of UCLA, was diagnosed with a torn ACL, because, of course, he was:
#Chargers lose another player for the season before it even begins.
After losing star TE Hunter Henry and star CB Jason Verrett, today the Chargers lost rookie TE Austin Roberts for the season with a torn ACL.

The Chargers should just bubblewrap Phil Rivers, Melvin Gordon, Keenan Allen, and everyone else who matters now, right? Three days of training camp and three guys are done — and you already know more bodies are doing to drop.
Be on the lookout for the Antonio Gates bat signal:
Agent Tom Condon told @SiriusXMNFL that he's hopeful client @AntonioGates85 can strike a deal to return to the @Chargers. Tom said he's actively negotiating with LAC executive Ed McGuire
