I came across Midori from Northern Illinois today on Instagram and thought she’d be a nice fit for our college girl of the day. However, I have nothing really to say about NIU. They’re essentially irrelevant when it comes to sports and that’s how I usually fill the space up.
So, let’s shout out an old name you probably haven’t heard in around a decade. Remember Garrett Wolfe? Back in ’06 he basically put this entire school on his back when he rushed for close to 2000 yards. He even had some Heisman talk there at the beginning of the season. I remember that year Ohio State was ranked #1 (that was the year Florida destroyed them in the title game) and he lit them up for like 300 total yards. His pro career didn’t pan out but he was a hell of a college running back.
