I'm told after the homicide of Roosevelt Rene occurred, #Giants CB Janoris Jenkins' brother, William Jenkins, was located in Geneva, NY. He is currently being held in the Ontario county jail, pending extradition to New Jersey, per source.

The progress in this investigation has been speedy to say the least. William was reported as a person of interest earlier and was actually arrested early Tuesday morning because of a parole violation, per TMZ.
Here’s the twist … according to jail records obtained by TMZ Sports, 34-year-old William Jenkins was arrested in upstate NY on June 26 at 1:46 AM ET … about 9 hours BEFORE the body was discovered at JJ’s home.
It appears William was arrested for an unrelated parole warrant issue — but now, investigators in the dead body case believe he might know something about the death of Roosevelt Rene.
ABC 7 NY reports William has served two prison stints (one beginning in 2006, another in 2011) for possession and sale of controlled substances.
The victim in this case was identified as 25-year-old Roosevelt Rene, who was a music producer and family friend of the Jenkins’. Strangulation/suffocation was reported as a possible cause of death by NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
Roosevelt Rene, who was found dead in the New Jersey home of New York Giants player Janoris Jenkins in a possible homicide, was a hip-hop producer and artist who went by the name Trypps Beatz: https://t.co/yNn91iO2OR #breaking pic.twitter.com/THEPEWKYmt

As for Janoris, he was out of state in Florida when all of this went down. He’s apparently “good” and “okay:”
Multiple sources who have connected directly with Janoris Jenkins told me that the #Giants CB says he's "good" and "okay" and "waiting for the legal process to play out."
