Former Miami Dolphins and Michigan State punter Brandon Fields and former NFL lineman Chris Morris, both Spartans grads, recently opened a brew pub in border town Sylvania, Ohio and wasted little time going on a marketing bender by releasing news that they would be debuting a STAINED KHAKIS brown ale as a tribute to Jim Harbaugh.
Inside The Five Brewery has been open about 10 days and here we are with a beer that’s going to cause headlines on blogs across the country. It’s a bold move for a brew pub that sits about 40 minutes south of Ann Arbor. Just taking shots at possible patrons right out of the shoot. I like the brashness, but now I’m going to expect Inside The Five to take shots like once a month. Now it’s ON.
From Inside The Five’s Facebook page:
NEW brew on tap tonight at 6pm! STAINED KHAKIS. Brown ale. A malt forward dark amber colored ale that has a slight malt sweetness and pronounced caramel characteristics with a bit of nuttiness and a nice dry finish. Be careful not to brag too much while drinking this beer, we would hate to see you mess yourself when it all comes crashing down.
So what’s the backstory on the brown stain? Fans think Jimbo is about to bust one when he assumes the stance and starts scrunching the face. Michigan State fans, who don’t have much to cheer about across their athletic department, have had some success against Jimmy so they feel there’s room to take shots at Big Brother.
The whole stained khakis thing goes back several years. Now it has its own beer. I’ll drink to that!
I'm amazed nobody's ever grabbed a pic of a tiny wet stain on the seat of Harbaugh's khakis.

Does Harbaugh's game worn pants come with the shit stain he inevitably creates when he loses his mind on the field every week?

Hey, Jim Harbaugh, I hope you stain your khakis.
