Is May way too early to declare an NFL player is in the best shape of his life? I only ask because a picture of Colts quarterback Andrew Luck has surfaced from this past weekend’s Indy 500, and the man is looking like an absolute powerhouse.
Ol’ No. 12 apparently biked to Danica Patrick’s farewell race Sunday, and suffice it to say there was a gun show in session:

Luck appearing to be in peak physical condition should provide temporary solace for Colts fans desperately waiting for him to be cleared to throw a football. His troublesome right shoulder has kept him off the field since Jan 1, 2017, but head coach Frank Reich says Luck should be throwing more around mid-June (via ESPN’s Mike Wells):
The Andrew Luck not-throwing-yet saga has reached the seventh month, but Indianapolis Colts coach Frank Reich says the quarterback will likely ramp up his throwing between the end of mandatory minicamp on June 14 and the start of training camp in late July.
“I would anticipate that,” Reich said Wednesday.
Of course, we’ve heard that story before and Luck ended up missing an entire season. Just look at more pictures of jacked Luck in the meantime to distract you from that major storyline:
