Everyone Is Rushing To Buy Mo Bamba Stock After His Wingspan Measured At 7’10”

Hurry! Get on the Mo Bamba bandwagon now before it fills to capacity. The surefire top-10 pick out of Texas is the talk of NBA Twitter today after setting an NBA combine record with a preposterous 7’10” wingspan. (It was previously reported as 7’9.”) That number shatters previous record holder Rudy Gobert, who measured in at 7’8″ at the 2013 combine.

The Bamba measurements that have scouts and fans salivating:

If you’re wondering how this all translates for Bamba on the hardwood, he averaged 13 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 3.7 (!) blocks in his freshman season at Texas. You can go ahead and project him as an elite defender in the NBA, at the very least. Oh, and it appears shooting threes will be in future as well:

Mo Bamba is working out with @DrewHanlen in LA and appears to have made some adjustments to his shooting mechanics. Here he is knocking down 9 3-pointers in a row. Pretty impressive stuff from a 7-footer with a 7'9 wingspan. Can't wait to get out there and it in person. pic.twitter.com/JT88fZCxQC
