Carson Wentz is a busy man right about now. He’s still rehabbing that knee, hoping he can make it back for week 1 of the season. If he doesn’t, no biggie, it’s just the Super Bowl MVP who will be ready to slide in there if needed again. He’s always wedding planning as you might remember he announced his engagement to girlfriend Madison Oberg right after the Super Bowl in February.
In the midst of this wedding planning process, Wentz and his girl decided to make what normally is a terrible decision and got matching tattoos together. I’d say the majority of the time this ends poorly and at least one of the two people ends up in a chair getting that thing laser removed.
However, this is wholesome Carson Wentz we’re talking about here, so this isn’t some on-a-whim deal. They probably went straight from Bible study to get these and of course, there’s a deeper message. They both got the word “agape” on their arm.
AGAPE” — Greek word for the highest form of love. It’s sacrificial, selfless, and unconditional… the way God loves us. Grateful to have an amazing woman by my side to passionately pursue the Kingdom with! Can’t wait to spend forever with you! S/O to @danczartattooon the amazing art and @ashleym_brownfor the amazing pics! Ecclesiastes 4:12 “Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”
While you’re here, go ahead and check out these two wedding registry. I know there’s some Eagles fans reading this who definitely want to send this couple a toaster or something.
