Remember last year when we posted Maine softball player Alyssa Derrick casually showing off her cannon of a right arm in an apartment complex parking lot? People lost their minds over this chick. She was on Twitter calling out Brady and people were making the obvious but always necessary “she cold start for the Browns jokes”.
Well, guess what? SHE’S BAAAAAAAAACK. And she picked up right where she left off last summer and hit the parking lot again surrounded by a bunch of dudes who couldn’t even dream of having this kind of arm strength.

Can’t wait until 2019 when she decides she wants to go viral again and breaks that rifle out of hibernation.
Here’s Alyssa’s Maine softball bio…just a reminder that she’s an absolute monster on the diamond as well
2017: America East All-Conference Second Team selection … two-time America East Player of the Week … America East All-Tournament team … tied Maine’s all-time single season record with 15 home runs … led the America East in home runs … appeared in all 44 games with 43 starts … batted .308 with 40 hits and 20 runs … led the team with 37 RBIs while adding three doubles and a team-high .677 slugging percentage … ranked fourth in the conference in with 37 RBI … went 9-for-14 in the America East Tournament with six RBI, two runs, two doubles and a pair of home runs … posted 12 multi-hit performances and led the team with 10 multi-RBI showings … ended the season on a seven game hit streak … went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI at Grand Canyon (3/4) … blasted a pair of home runs on a 3-for-4 day with two runs and two RBI at Colorado State (3/11) … drove in a season-high four runs at Hartford (4/8) which began a stretch of eight-straight games with an RBI … tallied two home runs, three RBI and two runs at UMBC (4/22) … UMaine Scholar-Athlete Bronze Medalist … America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll).
