HBC back! LET’S GOOOOO. You just new the head ball coach couldn’t stay away from coaching for too long, he retired back in 2015, but it’s always been a possibility that he would return to coaching at some point, whether it be in high school or some other fashion. Once they announced this new AAF (Alliance of American Football…just an awful name) last month as another pro league to rival the NFL and XFL coming up, his ears probably perked up.
Today they revealed Orlando as the first city that will have a team on CBS This Morning, along with Spurrier as their head coach. Couldn’t think of a more perfect fit.
Dear Orlando, See you soon. #AllianceORL

This is a good first step to getting this league off the ground. You have to get a big name in there to draw some interest. That’s partly why the UFL failed. Nobody gave a shit about anybody involved. The XFL is doing the opposite of what everybody wants with all their rules and the NFL is a juggernaut that won’t be stopped, so this might actually be able to slide right in there after the Super Bowl to ease our football withdrawal.
The league debuts next February and I just can’t wait to see that visor get tossed again.
