Villanova’s Donte DiVincenzo had a pretty quiet first round against Radford, but he busted out in a big way against Alabama. The redshirt sophomore, who was third in scoring on the team behind Jalen Brunson and Mikal Bridges, rained in five threes and scored 18 points to help the Wildcats advance to the Sweet 16. They get No. 5 West Virginia next on Friday night.

Off the court, it probably won’t surprise you to learn the guy they call “Delaware’s Michael Jordan” and “The Big Ragu” (two ridiculously strong nicknames) is taken by a fellow Italian. DiVincenzo’s IG shows he’s dating Temple cheerleader Morgan Calantoni — the two went IG official late in 2016.
