One of my favorite things about combine week is when the absurd questions that NFL teams ask these prospects start to leak. There’s been so many classics over the years. “Is your mom a prostitute?” and “Do you like men?” immediately come to mind as a couple that would be the Washington and Jefferson on the Mt. Rushmore of combine questions. We already heard the Browns asked Bo Scarbrough if God is an Auburn fan this earlier this week.
My point is that when future Patriot draftee, Braxton Berrios, said that an NFL team asked him about bitcoin and ISIS at the Senior Bowl, I didn’t bat an eye. Every year it’s like they try to top each other with the most pointless and useless questions for these guys.
I’m not even sure how you go about beginning to answer these.
Braxton Berrios says weirdest questions he was asked by teams actually were in the Senior Bowl, when he was asked “what is Bitcoin?” and “what is Isis?

Clearly, these are the types of questions that separate the good from the great. How well versed Braxton is in cryptocurrency and middle eastern terrorist groups might very well be the difference between him going in the 6th round or 7th round this year.
Side note: Belichick was definitely the one who asked him this right?
