Meet Canadian Figure Skater Kaetlyn Osmond

|

The Canadian figure skater you need to know at the 2018 Winter Olympics is none other than Kaetlyn Osmond. She is the No. 2 ranked skater headed into Pyeongchang (behind just Russian star Evgenia Medvedeva), and helped Canada win silver at the team event in Sochi. She and the rest of Team Canada are looking to one up 2014 by winning gold this time around — they are currently in first place with 35 points headed into the finals.

Kaetlyn, who will also be one to watch for the upcoming individual short and long program, has already made some celebrity fans in Leslie Jones and Donny Osmond:

Quickhits on Kaetlyn:

– She’s prevailed through numerous injuries: a stress fracture in 2013 and broken ankle in 2014
– She has an arena and street named after her in her hometown of Marystown
– Silver medalist at the 2017 ISU World Championships
