What does it all mean? Does it mean the Lakers are clearing cap space to bring in LeBron? Does this Cavs trade give them a chance to get over the hump against the Warriors (lololololol)? Does this mean the Cavs have a team that is ready to win the East?
Look, you guys know I’m pro-NBA in May. This isn’t my time of year to shine with the League so I’ll leave this one to the NSFWBDs.
They seem to think the trades today were a bad thing for the Cavs. Then I listen to Screamin A while pounding a carb-free Chipotle bowl and he’s saying this was a good day for the Cavs. I have no idea what to believe at this point.
Isaiah Thomas seems to be the big loser here. The Lakers aren’t going to give him huge money in a new contract. The Cavs wouldn’t even pass the ball to the guy. IT might not even get a starting job with the Lakers. Tough, tough day for IT.
Anyway, buckle up because the BDs have all sorts of theories on what this all means.
Oh by the way, how about Derrick Rose going to Utah to finish out the season. Oh boy. What are the chances D Rose is hurt by the time he gets off the plane in Salt Lake City and never plays there the rest of the season? I’ll say they’re pretty high.
