If you haven’t been following this Markelle Fultz story, you should because it’s one of the more bizarre stories we’ve had in a while. Coming into the draft, he was the clear #1 pick out of Washington. There were no doubts about it and people even questioned Boston for trading out of the #1 pick.
So Philly ends up getting him and it looks like The Process is finally complete. He plays the first four games of the season before a mysterious shoulder injury pops up, and he’s been shut down ever since. Since then, any sort of jumper he had college or before this shoulder issue popped up, is totally gone now. It’s like he’s got the yips or something. The basketball version of Chuck Knoblauch. The kid’s shot is just flat out ugly.
But at least he’s burying full-court shots backwards! We might’ve just found a way to get Markelle back on the floor to complete The Process. Full-court shots only. Backwards.

Meanwhile…this is Fultz from the foul line earlier this week
He’s making Lonzo’s shot look good right now and I thought that was physically impossible.
Man, this is hard to watch. Markelle Fultz's shot is just hideous at this point. I really hope he can get back to 100% and return to how he shot the ball in college. pic.twitter.com/qbbI5ZLHcj
