According to King County property taxes, Jamal Crawford paid $4,571,000.00 for his massive Lake Washington house in a super exclusive Seattle neighborhood that is home to his 12,330 sq. ft. pad that you can now buy for $7,988,000. What do you get in a 12k-plus sq. ft. house? How about 7 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. How about a giant atrium that turns this house into a massive indoor playground.
I’ve seen a couple athlete houses over the years, but nothing like the main atrium in Crawford’s house. Very impressive. Probably a little too open concept for me, but I’m sure there’s some newly married babysitter & social media coordinator in Seattle looking for a place like this.
Iconic gated estate offers 138′ of waterfront & mountain views. This updated custom home has the finest in quality, design & finish details. Fabulous Chef’s gourmet kitchen w/Miele appliances, granite tops, & entertaining island. Caretaker’s cottage/home theater/gym/pool/elevator/steam/sauna/indoor spa & 2 master suites are just a few of the spectacular features. Rolling lawn leads to the outdoor waterfall, grotto, & private dock w/year-round deep moorage. Truly one of a kind waterfront retreat.
And that outdoor waterfall is a legit waterfall. That’s not some half-assed waterfall. LEGIT.
The thing I kept thinking about this house was why it had a pool. I don’t care if you heat that thing to 95, it’s still Seattle and it’s still an outdoor pool in Seattle. Pretty much worthless. You might get a month where it’s legitimately warm enough to call pool weather. The rest of the time you’re pretending it’s pool weather.
It’s not that a pool at that house isn’t nice to look at. It is. Just a huge pain.
I rest my case:
