It Was A Steelers Fan Who Rear-Ended Leonard Fournette

Leonard Fournette is now saying it was a Steelers fan who rear-ended his 2017 Mercedes Maybach — base Blue Book price of $192,000 — this week on I-295 in Jacksonville. And it gets crazier…the Steelers fan’s family was at Sunday’s game in Pittsburgh where Fournette dropped 109 and 3 TDs on that sad Steelers defense.
From ESPN:

“Actually they had pictures from the game,” Fournette said. “I think her in-laws didn’t know who I was until everybody started taking pictures with me and then they were like, ‘We were at the game going against y’all. It was cold.’ Things like that.”

No ill will, that kind of thing. The other interesting development from the wreck was a question from a first responder — I assume a Florida Man — who asked to keep the destroyed bumper…and the responder wanted him to sign it.

“It was crazy because I wasn’t really worried about it,” Fournette said. “The bumper was on the ground and I was in the car waiting for the police to come and he just came out of nowhere like, ‘Man, can you sign this for me?’ I’m like, ‘You want me to sign a bumper?’ And he was like, ‘Yeah.’

Can’t really blame the first responder here. He knows that bumper is going to end up in the back of a truck and taken to a dump for disposal. You have no choice but to shoot your shot. One chance. Might as well go for it, it’s not like Fournette’s shoving that bumper into the trunk and heading home.
By the way, did you know that the Maybach comes with custom pillows for the back seats? Money really can buy everything. If you have an extra $170,000 laying around you can jump on this Maybach currently listed on AutoTrader.
