Chris Paul took a not-so-subtle shot at former teammate Blake Griffin on Monday when he said the Clippers should play through “go-to” guy Lou Williams. These salty words, of course, were uttered after Chris lost his return game to a team without Danilo Gallinari, Patrick Beverley, Austin Rivers, and DeAndre Jordan — not to mention that embarrassing locker room fiasco he played a role in.

But Chris isn’t the only one who can play the shade game. Blake made sure to fire back today while talking about this new Clippers team is fun because they “trusts each other”:

We’re a close team. This team trusts each other. I think that’s what happens when everybody gets a touch, everybody gets a shot, everybody feels involved. I think it’s fun to play basketball this way.
Feb. 28 is the date to circle for Rockets-Clippers Round 3.
