Mel Kiper has Baker Mayfield going to the Washington Redskins in his first mock draft, but if the OU quarterback had it his way, he’d go a little earlier than pick No. 13. Not top five, or top 10, but 11 to the Dolphins — he said so himself while commenting on Kenny Stills’ Instagram live.
#GetMeToMiami, Mayfield says.

We support this Mayfield-Dolphins marriage 100 percent. Mayfield’s the most interesting quarterback personality we’ve seen since the glorious Johnny Football Era, and him living in Miami will only maximize that.
As for the football fit, Ryan Tannehill is still the top guy in Miami. He’s returning from left ACL surgery and signed that fat extension back in 2015 — he’s not going anywhere. So yeah, not the best fit here but who knows. The Dolphins could fall in love with the guy between now and the draft — and it’s not like Tannehill has been stellar during his tenure.
