20-year-old Florida man Shane Missler was the recent winner of a $450 million Mega Millions jackpot, that ended up as a lump-sum payment of $281,874,999.00 after choosing the one-time payment option, according to the Florida Lottery.
The Celtics and Patriots fan from Port Richey, Florida seems ready for the challenge of living with this type of money.
“I’m only 20, but I hope to use it to pursue a variety of passions, help my family and do some good for humanity,” the winner said, according to lottery officials.
