It’s a good thing the Pittsburgh Steelers earned themselves a bye week, because offensive coordinator Todd Haley will apparently need some time to heal up from a hip injury he suffered on New Year’s Eve. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport tweets Haley was involved in some sort of altercation and was shoved outside a bar:
#Steelers OC Todd Haley was shoved down outside a bar near Heinz Field on New Year’s Eve, sources tell me and @TomPelissero. It resulted in a hip injury. Police have looked into it.

The good news: it’s not serious and Todd will be back sometime this week.

93.7 The Fan’s Andrew Fillipponi adds the incident may have occurred at the Tequila Cowboy Bar & Grill, which is walking distance from Heinz Field. Oh, and Todd’s wife, Christine, also played some role:
I’m hearing the Haley incident occurred at Tequila Cowboy and police were involved.

Now I’m hearing that Haley’s wife, Chrissy Haley, was also involved in the incident.

Update: Police say there were no injuries, and that it was Christine involved in the scuffle.
