Here’s some exciting Dexter Fowler news that hopefully won’t get the Best Fans in Baseball all worked up: he and his wife, Aliya, are expecting they’re second child. The couple took to social media to announce a baby girl is due next summer:

First thing that pops to mind with the July due date is obviously the possibility of Dexter having to go on paternity leave — you already know the @BestFansStLouis Twitter account will have plenty of screenshots to share if that happens.
Fowler is the second Cardinals player to announce a child is on the way this offseason. Jim Edmonds and his RHOC wife Meghan King also have a baby due next summer.
