Duke soccer players Morgan Reid and Abby Pyne, who rose to IG fame back in the day via a few appearances on BC and other men’s interest sites who used to be around, finished off their fall semester at Duke by going on a trip to Turks and Caicos for Christmas vacation and they’re documenting the hell out of it over on IG this week.
Both seniors, Reid and Pyne watched their college careers end on December 1 in a 0-0 match against UCLA. If I remember correctly, Pyne suffered a devastating leg injury at the beginning of this season. A quick look at the stats shows that she didn’t play in 2017. Reid finished her career by starting in all 26 matches, playing the second most minutes on the team and ends her Duke soccer life with 161k IG followers.
And they also leave known as the tandem that actually documents their tropical vacations. Very rare at Duke and kinda hard to find within the soccer community. These two have been doing it for the last two years. Documenting it all, and racking up huge IG numbers in the process.
The NCAA might not pay athletes, but athletes can leave college with a massive IG following and cash in the minute they’re done. That’s a positive takeaway from 2017 in the world of college athletics.
