Bill Walton was FULL Bill Walton last night during the west coast UConn-Arizona game and by that, I mean he was rambling about nonsense for minutes on end without taking a breath, annoying Dave Pasch to the point that I think he might just quit, and of course, breaking down Earth’s orbit around the sun. With props!
So who’s idea was it to put Walton on a broadcast the same day as the Winter Solstice? Somebody should’ve noticed that on the calendar months ago and known that Bill was going use those 2 hours to intricately explain the Earth’s axial tilt and how it creates seasons. That was just a guarantee. As a blogger, I love it. I’m just thinking about Dave here.
Before that, he reminded Kyrie Irving that the Earth is indeed round, then went on a spiel about solstices.
