Why would a white guy like me enjoy the thought of a guy like Diddy becoming majority owner of the Carolina Panthers? Because I’d like to see white people claim they’re never watching the NFL ever again only to start watching again by Week 8 because it’s not like they’re going to watch NASCAR or the NBA.
The last thing the NFL owners want is some black guy, who says he’ll bring in Kaep to compete with a Pro Bowl QB, owning the Panthers. The BDs know the deal here. They know this is a smart marketing ploy by Diddy, but they also know this is a pipe dream.
