We were in the middle of a super slow sports night last night, but thanks to the internet Gods, this Orlando Magic fan came down from the heavens to provide us with a little bit of content via this brutal Kiss Cam debacle. From start to finish, everything goes poorly for this fella. He goes in for 2 separate kisses, she was having none of it and ended up dapping him up/playing thumb wars, before finally giving him a pity peck on the cheek as his misery set in.
Now, normally I can’t stand the awkward moments like this. I’ve said it a thousand times at this point that I think most of these jumbotron moments are clearly staged, but there’s something about this one that I believe is real. The acting is just too good for a random Wednesday night Magic game.
Look at this. This is not the face of a man who was hired 12 hours before the game to make a viral Kiss Cam moment. That’s the face of a man who’s questioning his entire life.
