Those of you who’ve been waiting for boxing to get LIT AF like MMA (I know you guys want to see other humans beaten to a bloody pulp) got your wish last night during a fight at Mandalay Bay.
That’s boxer Stephen Smith’s ear. He was fighting Francisco Vargas. One thing led to another after wearing on that ear for 9 rounds before it finally took one headbutt and went Holyfield. Smith, as you might’ve imagined, had to stop fighting to go get that ear reconnected.
He’s now 25-4-0 and retweeting pics of his ear. Hey, this is a smart move. RTs of your ear equals awareness, which equals possible advertising deals, equals more money in Smith’s pocket.
