Baker Mayfield has had a busy 8 days, to say the least. Last Saturday he was on the field winning the Big 12 Championship, then he’s finding out he’ll play in the Rose Bowl the next day, then you fast forward a week and he’s in New York winning the Heisman.
And after all of that, ESPN drags this man out of bed so he can do a 5 minute SportsCenter hit to answer generic questions that he’s already answered 1000 times all while he looks SUPER hungover.
I don’t necessarily think these Manziel-Mayfield comparisons are that valid, but Baker definitely enjoyed himself last night. Maybe had a few pops to celebrate.
