Report: Deshaun Watson Suffered Torn ACL in Practice

We hate to ruin the city of Houston’s joyous time, but NFL insiders Ian Rapoport and Adam Schefter are reporting Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson may be done for the season after tearing his ACL during practice.
Rapoport tweeted earlier today that Watson was “limited” and an addition to the team injury report — he dropped the hammer on the Texans’ season shortly after:




Schefter has specifics on the injury, tweeting that it occurred while Watson was running a read option play when he went down:



If this isn’t depressing enough, Tom Savage is slated to start Sunday’s game against the Colts. He’s an absolute joke at the position, as you all know:
