Gordon Hayward Suffers Nasty Leg Injury

The Kyrie-LeBron drama can officially be put to the side for now, as Gordon Hayward was forced to leave tonight’s game after suffering a gruesome leg injury in the first quarter.

The injury occurred around the six-minute mark when Kyrie attempted to connect with Gordon on an alley oop. As you can see below, LeBron caught some of Gordon while defending the pass, which caused the new Celtic to land awkwardly on his left leg/ankle:

Update: It’s reportedly a fractured ankle for Hayward.

Gordon, of course, made waves in the offseason for leaving the Jazz to sign a four-year max deal with the Celtics.
