December 4th is a huge day if you want legalized sports gambling

That will be the day that the Supreme Court hear’s the arguments for legalized sports betting and after that, it’s in their hands to decide whether it will be legal across the country. Via LV Sun: The U.S. Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in a case that could legalize sports betting across the country on Dec. 4, according to a calendar published by the court. The Supreme Court decided to hear the case, Christie v. NCAA, in June. “Christie” refers to New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, and the case is an attempt by that state to overturn a lower court’s ruling that blocked an attempt to legalize sports betting in the Garden State. Basically, this means that if the court declares the NJ case unconstitutional, then it legal for every state to legalize it if they choose. So this is a big deal.
