Here’s something that LaVar Ball is going to love: Markelle Fultz isn’t looking too hot this preseason, and he hit a new low Monday night with this U-G-L-Y free-throw motion:
No. Markelle’s shot always didn’t look like that — he probably wouldn’t have been the No. 1 overall pick if it did. He 65 percent from the stripe at Washington and his form looked pretty normal:
The good news is that the new shot appears to be a result of Markelle compensating for an injured shoulder — Brett Brown doesn’t sound too concerned about it (via Philly.com):
“I think his shoulder is affecting him more than he lets on,” coach Brett Brown said. “You can tell with his free throw, you know, trying to get that ball up. Its follow from his body.
“But he’s been working on just trying to get that thing rehabilitated.”
