Anibal Sanchez’s tenure with the Detroit Tigers has reached its end. Probably. The Tigers have a $16 million club option for the upcoming 2018 season, but they’re almost certainly going to exercise their buyout clause. Anibal put up an ERA 6.41 in 2017 and spent some time in the minor leagues, so yeah, easy move for Detroit here.
The righty knows what’s up, as he has just listed his beautiful home in Birmingham for $1.9 million. According to public records, Anibal bought the place back in 2013 (the best year of his career) for $1.58 million.
Exceptional quality and craftmanship throughout this stunning newer Birmingham Tudor in highly sought after neighborhood. Impeccalbe finishes include hand scraped walnut floors, custom mill work and 6 fireplaces. Striking 2 story foyer. Beautiful chef’s kitchen with premium appliances and copper sink opens to family room. Impressive paneled den with wet bar and full bath, could be first floor bedroom. Beautiful custom cabinetry throughout. Owners’ suite offers a lovely dressing room, 2 fireplaces and a beautiful bath. 2nd floor laundry. Incredible wine cellar, full bath and potential guest room, work out space and living space in lower level. Beautifully landscaped yard. New state of the art security camera system. Home could not be built at this price today. Taxes non-homestead.
You probably shouldn’t buy this place if you don’t love wine. That wine cellar is freaking massive — it’d be a shame if it weren’t put to use.
