I’m a Baker Mayfield guy. I loved when he went into Columbus and planted that flag. And I loved when he told Baylor he was their daddy. But sometimes that karma comes back around like it did today, so I have zero problems with Iowa State taking that flag and planting it right at mid field in Norman.
Some may say that it was unnecessarybecause ISU had nothing to do with the beef between Ohio State and Oklahoma. But I say nay. If you go into Norman and beat the current Heisman trophy favorite on his own field, go ahead and plant that flag.

That coach was having none of it
And here’s Baker’s response
Mayfield on ISU flag plant: “It’s expected. I’m sure I’ll get comments that Iowa State’s my Dad or whatever”
