It sounds like Rick Pitino has officially been fired as head coach at Louisville, which makes this video of him leaving the UL president’s office even better than it already was about an hour ago. “You don’t belong on this property” is a fantastic line when you also don’t belong on this property, either.

But this is classic Pitino. He was going to deny this thing until he died and even now that he’s fired, I expect him to still deny it and probably finagle his way into another big-time job.
It was a good run for Rick at Lousiville, full of hookers and money and that one National Championship that will surely be vacated. These pictures are kind of sad.
