It’s a little early to be worrying about the Heisman Trophy, but Penn State running back Saquon Barkley is firmly in the discussion through three weeks of the season. That’s just how it goes when you’ve racked up 548 total yards (241 of which have come as a receiver) and five touchdowns.

For what it’s worth, the latest ESPN “Expert’s Poll” has Saquon in second place behind just Oklahoma’s Baker Mayfield. Meanwhile, you have NFL execs comparing him to the likes of David Johnson and Ezekiel Elliott, so yeah, life is good for the junior right now.
Saquon appears to be doing well for himself off the field as well, as he’s dating Penn State alum Anna Congdon. It looks like they’ve been a thing for eight months or so:
