Boise State DT Chase Hatada learned a very valuable lesson tonight: don’t launch yourself at a quarterback throwing the ball away like a dumbass.
As you can see below, New Mexico’s Lamar Jordan was just trying to get the football out of his hands on a blown play when big No. 93 came in and leveled him with a brutal shot near the head:

Somehow roughing the passer wasn’t called by the refs, but Hatada was eventually ejected for targeting after a review of the play.

Apparently Jordan is in “good spirits” in the locker room, whatever that means:
